My Brother Dave visited from Michigan and it was a blast to hang out with him for a week.
We took a day trip up to Lake Pleasant and drove the Castle Hot Springs Road.
It was a nice sunny day around 54°F. We did some sight seeing and hiking near the lake.
We drove the road 1/2 way to Morristown.
With half our gas gone, we decided to head back. We stopped at a steep mountain wash to dig up and sample some dirt for panning back at home. A herd of wild burros crossed our path.
With a Jeep full of paydirt, we headed back. We made a stop at the “Wild Horse Bar & Grill” for a couple of their tasty burgers. We made it home and relaxed the rest of the evening.
The next day I set up the panning station and we went through our digs.
A couple of tips and Dave was a panning pro.
That was a fun day for us and only 1 of them, more to come of the Waterfall hike and the Musical Instrument Museum. Stay tuned.
